Commander Bill Heard
Our camp commander, Bill Heard, is a long-time educator. He is pictured here with a six-pounder Mountain Howltizer cannon, but Commander Heard is most noted for his Willams Gun that he and his students made in shop at White County High School a few years ago. He is a reenactor whose group travels as Schoolfield’s Battery.
