During the first part of July, the camp had a couple of Confederate Memorial Services to do at Poplar Springs Cemetery, in the Hardy's Chapel area; and at the Copeland Cemetery in the Copeland Cove area (Highway 84 near Bethlehem Methodist Church).

AT COPELAND CEMETERY. Members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Highland Brigade camps including the Livingston, Monterey and Gainesboro Camps and other folks held Confederate memorial services in the Copeland Cemetery, just off Hwy. 84 between Monterey and Livingston, for Confederate soldiers buried in the cemetery, including G.
